Winamp for Linux

01-25-2022
A very nice music player becomes even more beautiful.

Audacious is my music player. For a long time I used the Winamp interface because it was hard to say goodbye to the real Winamp (which does not work under Linux).

This is how you install the Winamp look within Audacious:
- Create a Winamp folder under /usr/share/audacious/Skins.
- Download the skin and extract it under /usr/share/audacious/Skins/Winamp.
- In Audacious, select settings (often Ctrl+P), appearance the Winamp skin.

Scripts are super useful because they take little time to create - they are often short - and they make life a lot easier.
